This project is built with multiple user roles in mind. Each role is equipped with specific permissions and responsibilities, making the system both secure and scalable.

1. Admin Panel

• Login/Logout functionality
• View tenant and owner details

Installation Guide

Follow these steps to set up the Apartment Management System locally:

1. Database Configuration
   • Import the file apartment_management(1).sql into your MySQL server using phpMyAdmin or CLI.
2. Server Configuration
   • Place the project folder inside the htdocs directory (for XAMPP) or relevant web root.
   • Edit config.php to add your local database credentials.
3. Launch in Browser
   • Open your browser and navigate to: http://localhost/Apartment-Management-System

Login Details

To access different modules, use the following login credentials:

• Admin
  • Username: Abhyudith
  • Password: 12345
• Employee
  • Passwords must be manually set through the MySQL database.

Known Limitations

While the system is feature-rich, some known issues are being actively worked on:

1. Database is not fully normalized, leading to data redundancy.
2. Owner module has been partially merged with Admin, but some Owner PHP files still exist separately.
3. Dashboard sections for Admin and Employee lack full interface details.
4. Email and SMS modules require manual setup and environment-specific configurations.

These will be addressed in future updates to improve performance and structure.

How to Use

After installation, navigate to the login page to select the user role. Each role grants access to dedicated modules. Users can perform tasks like data entry, complaints handling, and payment processing as per their access level.
