Installation Guide

Step 1: Install Required Software

• Install XAMPP or WAMP (Recommended: PHP 5.6.3 or 7.4.12)

Step 2: Configure the Server

1. Open XAMPP Control Panel and start Apache and MySQL.

Step 3: Download the Project

• OR manually extract the ZIP file into C:\xampp\htdocs\.

Step 4: Set Up the Database

1. Open your browser and go to http://localhost/phpmyadmin/.
2. Click New → Create a database named eventsite.
3. Click Import and select database/events.sql from the extracted project folder.
4. Click Go to import the database.

Step 5: Run the Application

• Open your browser and enter: http://localhost/event-management-master
• Register a new account and log in.
