When an accident occurs on the road network or there is a medical emergency and the need to preserve a human life, ambulances perform a critical role. Manually scheduling an ambulance in an emergency can waste valuable time because it is a time-consuming process. Furthermore, the delay induced by significant traffic congestion between the pickup location and the hospital facility may enhance the victim’s risk of mortality.
Ambulance Booking Android App
An android-based application for booking ambulances in real time. All of the city’s ambulances can be linked on a single platform, which is more resilient than the current system. The current position of the user/patient will be retrieved using the device’s GPS. Users can specify the name of a hospital; otherwise, they will be directed to the nearest hospital.
The technology presented here will allow customers to book Ambulance Booking Android App in an instant. The user must select the ambulance size, pick-up location, and hospital. In the event of an emergency, the user will just select the pick-up place and destination, and the system will book the nearest ambulance and hospital. Once booked, the ambulance operator will receive a confirmation notification. The pick-up and drop-off locations can be viewed on Google Maps by the ambulance driver. Users will be given the driver’s contact information. The booking history can also be viewed by the hospitals. This is how the Ambulance Booking App will save lives during medical emergencies.

Limitations
- Wrong inputs will affect the project outputs.
- Internet Connection is mandatory
- The android mobile user will not be able to insert or view details if the server goes down. Thus, there is disadvantage of single point failure
