How to Run the Project

Follow these steps to set up and run the Traffic Offense Reporting System:

Step 1: Setting Up the Environment

  • Install a virtual server, such as XAMPP, on your system.
  • Start Apache and MySQL through the XAMPP control panel.

Step 2: Extract and Copy the Project Files

  1. Extract the downloaded ZIP file.
  2. Paste the main project folder into the xampp/htdocs/ directory after copying it.

Step 3: Connect to the Database

  1. Open a web browser and navigate to http://localhost/phpmyadmin/.
  2. Create a new database named DATABASE.
  3. Click the Import tab and select the DATABASE.sql file located inside the INSTALL folder of the project.
  4. Click Go to import the database.

Step 4: Access the Application

  1. Open your browser and visit http://localhost/Trafic/.
  2. For admin access, use the login credentials provided in the Readme.txt file within the project folder.
  3. Note: Admins must log in via the User login page. The URL http://localhost/Trafic/admin is not used for login purposes.
