How to Set Up the Project

Download and install XAMPP or WAMP, which will serve as your local web server.

  1. Download the Loan Management System project files.
  2. Extract the zip file and copy the folder Loan_Management_System into your local XAMPP or WAMP htdocs directory.
  3. Example: C:\xampp\htdocs\Loan_Management_System
  4. Open your web browser and type http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ to open the PHPMyAdmin interface.
  5. Create a new database with the name loan_db.
  6. Import the loan_db.sql file from the SQL folder provided with the project.
  7. Open your browser and type http://localhost/Loan_Management_System/.
  8. Use the default login credentials to access the admin dashboard:
  • Username: admin
  • Password: admin123
