Modules in SRMS

The Student Result Management System is divided into two primary modules:

Admin Module

The admin is responsible for managing student data, classes, subjects, and results. Key features include:

• Admin Dashboard: Provides an overview of system activities.
• Class Management: Add, update, or delete class information.
• Subject Management: Add, update, delete, activate, or deactivate subjects and their combinations with classes.
• Student Management: Register new students, edit their information, and manage student data.
• Result Management: Declare and revise the pupils’ results.
• Notice Board: Add or delete notices.
• Password Management: Update the admin password for enhanced security.

Student Module

Students can independently access their results and view notices. Features include:

• Result Search: Enter a valid roll ID to view results.
• Notice Board Access: View all notices uploaded by the admin.

How to Run the SRMS Project

1. Download and Unzip:
   To extract the project files, download the zip file and unzip it.
2. Place the Folder:
   Copy the extracted srms folder into the root directory of your server (htdocs for XAMPP).
3. Database Configuration:
   • Open phpMyAdmin: http://localhost/phpmyadmin.
   • Create a database named srms.
   • Import the srms.sql file available in the zip package.
4. Run the Project:
   • Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost/srms for user access.
