  • Update user credentials and system settings.
• User Role:
  • Manage personal profiles, such as educational background, work experience, and account details.
  • Restricted from adding or editing other employees’ data.

How to Set Up and Run the HRIS Project

To run the HRIS, you’ll need a virtual server environment like XAMPP. Follow these steps to get started:

1. System Requirements

Ensure you have the following installed:

• XAMPP (Apache and MySQL)
• A web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox)

2. Steps to Install

1. Extract Files:
   • Download and extract the provided project file.
2. Move to Server:
   • Copy the extracted project folder into the htdocs directory within your XAMPP installation.
3. Set Up the Database:
   • Open your browser and go to http://localhost/phpmyadmin/.
   • Create a new database named hrms_db.
   • Navigate to the Import tab and select the hrms_db.sql file located in the DATABASE folder of the project.
   • Click on Go to import the database schema and data.
4. Launch the System:
   • Open your browser and go to http://localhost/hris/.
   • Use the login credentials provided in the Readme.txt file.

3. Log In

• Enter the admin or user credentials to access the system.
